New Year, Approach with Caution

I'm not setting resolutions, I'm just hanging on.

I have been praised for handling it well. I embodied my personal brand and it surprised everyone.

Maybe my real job is to testify that work doesn’t define you.

If it’s not a quick six-second video, we skim it. We read in headlines.

I hadn't just flown the nest....I'd outgrown it.

The formula that led to a super emotional catharsis, confirmation of a calling and a heart beating upside down and sideways follows.

Where the food comes from, how we supply it and how we help plan for all the people who need it has always been a part of who I am.

And that’s because change always provides a bit of uprising. Emotional uprising, cultural uprising, geographical uprising.
